We recently chatted to Kristy Matheson, the 2017 recipient of the Natalie Miller Fellowship, about what the Fellowship means to her, the impact it’s had on her career and why it’s important to keep applying and refining your proposal.
Kristy Matheson is the Director of Film Programs at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) in Melbourne where she programs contemporary films and retrospectives at the popular museum. Her professional development proposal will study how internationally renowned film institutions are responding to the technological disruption to their core business and market share.
Kristy applied for the Fellowship three times before she was successful – proving just how important it is to continue refining and building on your proposal.
